Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic scored a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Lukas Dlouhy and Leander Paes to win the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament.

The pair saved all six break points they faced while breaking the opposition three times en route to winning the match in 63 minutes.

The victory had to be a bit extra satisfying for Nestor and Zimonjic, the eighth-ranked doubles team who were contesting their third final of the year. They finished as runner-up in both Doha and Sydney, then were upset in the second round at the Australian Open.

Nestor has now won 56 tour-level titles while Zimonjic clinched his 24th tour-level title.

“It’s my first time winning in Rotterdam, so it’s a great feeling. I made the final here in 2002, losing to Federer and Mirnyi, but hadn’t really played well here since then. Nenad played great this week, especially in the last two matches. It’s great to win the first ATP World Tour 500 event. We were pretty disappointed after Australia but hopefully we can get on a roll now.” Nestor said.
