Rafael Nadal has 10 more day to Rest and then Davis Cup

Rafael Nadal, who injured in the Australian Open quarter-final against David Ferrer, must rest for ten days staring today, and then will return to the tennis court for practice to get ready to play the Davis Cup tie against Belgium, from 4 to 6 March in Charleroi.

Nadal suffered an "adductor longus rupture of the left leg" as it appears in the report prepared by Dr. Angel Ruiz Cotorro. This is the diagnosis revealed by the magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound.

Nadal is being treated with NSAIDs, physiotherapy anti-inflammatory, Tecar and specific stretches.

"He has a good prognosis, " said Cotorro, who is optimistic, adding that once cured the injury would not be repeated. "Nadal is relaxed, and now all he has to do is follow the steps provided, " he said.

Nadal is recovering on his home island of Mallorca.

Andy Murray won't rush return to competition

Andy Murray won't rush return to competition

Andy Murray, who last Sunday lost the Australian Open final against Novak Djokovic, said he may put away the racquets for a while.

"I'll see what I do from here, you know. I don't know, I might not play for a few months. I might feel like playing in a week's time," Murray said.

"[I]t depends on how I feel. I don't have to play until Indian Wells and Miami. If I am enjoying myself back home, then I won't start training again, because last year I went through the motions a bit and that is not the way to move forward. I want to spend time with my girlfriend, chill out and get away from the court."

"It's better than it was last year... I was in a much worse state last year than I was this year. I don't know why, It was obviously tough, disappointing. You know, I thought Novak played unbelievably well. I would have liked to have played better. But, you know, I think he would have beaten every other player on the tour if he played like that tonight. He served well. He didn't make many mistakes from the back of the court. He moved really, really well.I'll be very happy with the way the tournament went. But I would have obviously liked to have gone one step further."
