Feliciano Lopez retires at French Open 2012
Feliciano Lopez was forced to retire due to a side muscle injury in his opening match against Florent Serra at the Roland Garros 2012 tennis event.
The spaniard was down 0-5 in the first set when he decided to quit.
Lopez pulled the muscle while practicing at Roland Garros on Thursday and hopes he can be ready for Wimbledon.
"In the beginning, I felt it was nothing really serious, but (the) day after, I couldn't play almost," Lopez said. "I tried to rest during the weekend just to try to play today, but it was impossible."
