Novak Djokovic has been named the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year.
The World No. 1 was presented with the award by HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Club.
Djokovic came out on top ahead of fellow nominees Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese and Real Madrid footballer, and Northern Ireland golfer Rory McIlroy.
"This is probably the crown of my 2014 season that has been highlighted with winning Wimbledon, regaining No. 1 in the world and becoming a father," said Djokovic. "It has probably been my best year so far in my life."
