Murray wins Thailand Open title after destroying Young

Andy Murray crushed Donald Young 6-2, 6-0 to win the 2011 Thailand Open title.

Murray was in complete control throughout the match, exploiting the lack of experience and unforced errors from Young.

The world number 4 broke twice to lead of 4-0 in the first set. Young finally got on the board to make it 5-1 but lost the first set when Murray hit an overhead smash winner.

The second set featured more one-way traffic with Murray extending his advantage while his American opponent’s game was marred by unforced errors, winning only three from 27 points in the set.
