Del Potro Purchased a Street in Tandil to keep Tourists Away

Juan Martin del Potro purchased a street for $50.000 to connect his two recently purchased lands.

This movement by Del Potro caused tons of controversy and the indignation of the neighbors but the mayor and the the city council already approved the transaction.

Graciela Ubach, a councilor for the PJ-FPV, said “there is no way to preserve the heritage of Tandil. Otherwise, anyone would be able to have their own street” while Claudio Ersinger, PRO Union, said “The sale of a street should be given only for reasons of force majeure, where there is justification to support it, which did not occur in this case. “
