Murray not worried by injury setback

Murray not worried by injury setback

Andy Murray, who is 12/1 with bet365 to win Wimbledon, says re-injurying his hip is no longer his main concern as he weighs up his participation at SW19.

The two-time men’s singles champion has yet to confirmed whether or not he will play at the All England Club as he continues to work his way back from 11 months on the sidelines.

The former world No.1 has only played three competitive games since making his comeback and says his main worry for Wimbledon is not being able to perform at the level he would like.

"There is no danger of me injuring my hip more than any other stage," Murray said. "Two weeks ago I practised with Kyle and I didn't win a game. I've made decent progress in the past couple of weeks and have been somewhat competitive in the matches I have played.

"So I don't want to go out there to just play, I want to compete properly.”
